If two identical white Infiniti Q50s both had 20% tint, but one had a black interior and the other had this light-tan interior, the Q50 with black interior would appear slightly darker.

The lighter seats and interior panels reflect more light through the windows. That additional cabin light makes the film appear lighter, especially when direct sunlight enters through the windshield or the opposite side of the vehicle.
